The splice is a knot made on a synthetic or natural rope. This knot on a rope is very solid and will not come undone, except by an act of sabotage. The La Corderie team has the expertise to make splices on 3 and 4-strand rope. A decorative knot, the splice is used for boat mooring lines, custom-made swings, climbing ropes and boxing rings. This work is not possible on all types of ropes; please contact us if you have any doubts.
