The Dyneema® SK78 soft shackle is the ideal replacement for traditional metal shackles and carabiners. Ten times lighter than stainless‑steel shackles with equivalent strength, it won’t damage the deck, is easy to open and remove without tools, and provides secure locking under load. Each breaking load is clearly identified by a dedicated color, and the LIROS strap ensures a fast and simple opening system. What is a Dyneema rope? Dyneema is a registered trademark (by Dutch State Mines) for an ultra-strong synthetic fibre. What are Dyneema ropes used for?
