The pulley system with stop prevents accidents. With 25M of rope, it is possible to lift a load to a maximum height of 2M50 - 3M. The maximum advertised weight is 400k. However, as the sheaves are not mounted on ball bearings, friction is high. A load of 120k corresponds to a lift of around 15k + friction. There are no plans to use this hoist with a longer rope. If this system is used to lift a person, it is imperative that it be coupled with a fall arrest system approved for this purpose.
