The ABSORBICA-Y 150 is a double lanyard with a compact energy absorber, designed for progression on vertical structures or horizontal lifelines with intermediate anchor points. Its progressive tear-webbing energy absorber reduces the impact force transmitted to the user in the event of a fall and is suitable for users weighing between 60 and 140 kg. The compact design minimizes bulk during use, while the elasticated arms move with the user and do not hinder progression. The energy absorber is protected by a durable fabric pouch that shields it from abrasion and debris while still allowing easy periodic inspection. The ABSORBICA-Y 150 offers versatile attachment options, either with a carabiner secured by a STRING positioning accessory for frequent connections and disconnections, or with a RING OPEN for a nearly permanent connection. The lanyard ends can be fitted with either standard carabiners or large-opening MGO OPEN connectors. It is designed for a maximum overall length of 200 cm, including connectors, in accordance with CE EN 355 requirements. Available at La Corderie in Ixelles, Belgium.
