The MICRO TRAXION is an ultra-lightweight and compact progress-capture pulley designed for crevasse rescue, hauling systems, self-rescue operations, and emergency rope ascents. Weighing only 85 g, it offers outstanding performance in a remarkably small package. Its locking cam can be secured in the open position, allowing the device to function as a standard pulley when required. Equipped with sealed ball bearings, it delivers an excellent efficiency rating of 91%, ensuring smooth and efficient hauling operations. The cam mechanism remains effective even on muddy or frozen ropes and is compatible with rope diameters ranging from 7 to 11 mm. Rope installation diagrams engraved inside the pulley facilitate quick and correct setup in the field. A dedicated attachment hole also allows a Sm'D carabiner to be tethered with a cord, reducing the risk of equipment loss. Available at La Corderie in Ixelles, Belgium.
