The JANE-I is a non-adjustable dynamic rope lanyard designed to be used with an ABSORBICA energy absorber to create a single energy-absorbing lanyard with a maximum overall length of two metres. Its plastic sheath keeps the carabiner correctly positioned, makes clipping and handling easier, and protects the rope termination from abrasion. Versatile in use, the JANE-I can also be employed as a temporary anchor, either directly on an anchor point or wrapped around a suitable structure. An individual identification marking on the plastic sheath allows efficient equipment tracking and inspection throughout its service life. Available in a range of lengths to suit different applications, the JANE-I comes in 60, 80, 100 and 150 cm versions. Available at La Corderie in Ixelles, Belgium.
