This aluminium sleeve is ideal for creating a loop at the end of a cable (steel or electric), a rope, a transparent nylon wire or a Dyneema fibre. Light and strong, this oval product can be used for several applications: hanging objects and plates, stretching a sail, making a customised padlock (anti-theft cable). A lug can be inserted into the loop. A connection between two cables, ropes or dyneema fibres is also possible with an oval sleeve. This sleeve can be bought at the Corderie, by the piece or by bag of 100, to be crimped with a crimping tool or electrician's pliers (for small diameters).
An aluminum sleeve is a small metal tube used to assemble, tighten, or form a loop on a steel cable. Flexible when crimped but strong once crushed with suitable pliers, it allows for reliable and durable connections without knots. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and economical, it is very common for galvanized or PVC-coated cables. It is used in particular for guardrails, guy wires, fences, light lifting systems, or any installation requiring secure cable fastening.
